Born in sunny California and making the big move to Miami at 13, my culinary style is all about fusion! You’ll find a delightful mix of my Ecuadorian roots, California’s Mexican influences, and a splash of Caribbean zest from my Miami days and my Jamaican husband. For me, cooking is like an art project, each dish is a creative journey rather than just a recipe to follow.
I truly believe that the magic of great food lies in well seasoned ingredients and flavors that dance together. When everything clicks, it’s pure bliss on a plate!

Fun Facts
- I cook fish for my family, but I don’t eat it. While I happily prepare filleted fish for Marc and our guests, I personally don’t eat it. The texture just doesn’t work for me. The only seafood I truly enjoy is shrimp, lobster, and crab. I’ll always take a bite to try something new at a restaurant, but when it comes to my own plate, I stick to my favorites.
- My top three favorite cuisines are Mexican, Thai, and Italian. I was born in California, so I grew up loving Mexican food. The flavors are bold and comforting, just like Thai and Italian cuisine. Whether it’s tacos, a spicy curry, or a perfect bowl of pasta, these are the foods I crave the most!
- If I had to eat one meal for the rest of my life, it would be tacos. Tacos are endlessly versatile, you can fill them with anything, switch up the tortillas, and make them as simple or elaborate as you want. With so many options, I don’t think I’d ever get tired of them!
