  • 2 pounds Argentinian red shrimp
  • 1 tbsp adobo seasoning @eatloisa
  • 2 tsp cumin ground
  • 2 tsp white pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tbsp paprika
  • ½ tbsp chili powder
  • pinch salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp avocado oil
  • Cabbage shredded
  • 1 handful Queso fresco
  • 6 Corn tortillas
  • Salsa optional

Instructions

Let's Begin!

  • Wash the shrimp and pat them dry.
  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the shrimp along with the adobo seasoning, ground cumin, white pepper, garlic powder, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat the shrimp evenly.
  • Heat 3 tablespoons of avocado oil in a medium-large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Once the oil is heated, add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp are fully cooked.
  • While the shrimp are cooking, assemble your tacos. Warm the corn tortillas and layer them with the cabbage blend, cooked shrimp, salsa (if desired), and queso fresco.
  • Enjoy your delicious cast-iron shrimp tacos!
