  • 4 cups watermelon cubed and seeds removed
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice about 4-6 lemons
  • ½ cup sugar adjust to taste
  • 3 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 sprig mint leaves

  1. Put the watermelon cubes in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the blended watermelon through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a large pitcher to remove the pulp.
  3. Pour the fresh lemon juice into the pitcher.
  4. Stir in the sugar until it dissolves. Adjust the sweetness if needed.
  5. Pour in the cold water and mix well.
  6. Add ice cubes to the pitcher or serve the lemonade over ice.
