  • 4 pcs hashbrowns Trader Joe’s
  • 1.25 lbs Chuck steak
  • 3 avocados ripe
  • 1 lime juice
  • 1 Serrano chili
  • cilantro for garnish
  • ½ tbsp onion powder
  • ½ tbsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp oil

Instructions
 

Let's Begin!
    Steak
    1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Place the hashbrowns on a baking sheet and bake for 14-15 minutes or until golden and crispy.
    2. Season the chuck steak with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.
    3. Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a medium cast-iron skillet over high heat for about a minute. Once the oil is hot, reduce the heat to medium-high and sear the steak for 5 minutes on each side.
    4. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for 10 minutes.
    Avocado Mash
    1. While the steak rests, mash the avocados in a bowl. Add the lime juice, salt, and pepper to taste, and mix until smooth.
    2. If using Serrano chilies for extra heat, slice them thinly.
    Let's Assemble
    1. Slice the rested steak. Layer the crispy hashbrowns with the avocado mixture, then top with the sliced steak. Add Serrano chilies and garnish with fresh cilantro.
    2. Serve immediately and enjoy the epic flavors!
