- In a small mixing bowl, add all the sauce ingredients and whisk them together until well combined.
- Season both sides of the patties with sazon, adobo, salt, and black pepper to taste.
- Sear the patties on medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Remove the patties from the heat and add cheese to melt.
- In a cast iron skillet, caramelize thinly sliced yellow onion on medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes. Add salt to taste.
- Chop the tomatoes and lettuce.
- Spread the sauce on the buns.
- Assemble your burger with the patties, caramelized onions, tomatoes, and lettuce.
