  • 1 12-ounce bag cranberries rinsed
  • ¾ cup water
  • ¼ cup orange juice fresh
  • 1 ¼ cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon ground
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions
 

Let's Begin!
  1. Combine cranberries, sugar, orange zest and juice, cinnamon, salt, vanilla extract, and water in a saucepan.
  2. Heat the mixture until it boils, then lower the heat to medium and let it simmer for 12 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. The cranberries will burst and the mixture will thicken slightly.
  4. Once removed from heat, let it cool completely before refrigerating in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
  5. The sauce will continue to thicken as it cools.
