Ingredients

Let's gather the ingredients!

  • pounds round steak sliced into strips about 1/4-inch thick
  • 3 tbsp avocado oil
  • 3 tbsp corn starch
  • 2 tbsp ginger grated
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 medium onion diced
  • ½ cup red bell pepper diced
  • ½ cup green bell pepper diced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey

Seasoning

  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin

Instructions

Let's Begin!

  • In a bowl, combine the meat with all the seasonings and cornstarch, ensuring that the meat is evenly coated.
  • Heat oil in a large wok or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the meat in batches and cook until browned on all sides, approximately 4 minutes. Remove the browned meat from the wok and set aside.
  • Reduce the heat to medium. Add the onions, bell peppers, ginger, and garlic to the wok. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, until the vegetables are slightly softened.
  • Return the browned meat to the wok. Pour in the honey and soy sauce. Cook on low heat for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure the meat and vegetables are coated in the sauce.
  • Once cooked, sprinkle the dish with chopped scallions for added freshness and flavor.
  • Serve the delicious meat and vegetable stir-fry over a bed of cooked rice or noodles.
  • Enjoy your flavorful and satisfying meal!
