Ingredients
Let's gather the ingredients!
- 2½ pounds round steak sliced into strips about 1/4-inch thick
- 3 tbsp avocado oil
- 3 tbsp corn starch
- 2 tbsp ginger grated
- 5 cloves garlic minced
- 2 medium onion diced
- ½ cup red bell pepper diced
- ½ cup green bell pepper diced
- salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp salt
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 2½ tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
Instructions
Let's Begin!
- In a bowl, combine the meat with all the seasonings and cornstarch, ensuring that the meat is evenly coated.
- Heat oil in a large wok or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the meat in batches and cook until browned on all sides, approximately 4 minutes. Remove the browned meat from the wok and set aside.
- Reduce the heat to medium. Add the onions, bell peppers, ginger, and garlic to the wok. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, until the vegetables are slightly softened.
- Return the browned meat to the wok. Pour in the honey and soy sauce. Cook on low heat for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure the meat and vegetables are coated in the sauce.
- Once cooked, sprinkle the dish with chopped scallions for added freshness and flavor.
- Serve the delicious meat and vegetable stir-fry over a bed of cooked rice or noodles.
- Enjoy your flavorful and satisfying meal!
